There is fierce reaction to a Quebec Superior Court ruling regarding tuition hikes and language requirements for out of province students. A judge ruled in favour of McGill and Concordia universities who had challenged the 33 percent hike imposed on students from outside Quebec. The English language universities filed lawsuits in February of 2024. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
