B.C. university layoffs blamed on feds international student cap
Description
March 16, 2025
One of B.C.'s largest universities is cutting jobs. About 70 faculty members at Kwantlen Polytechnic University have been issued layoff notices, and it's not the only post-secondary institution in Canada struggling with job losses. As Neetu Garcha explains, school officials are blaming the federal government's cap on international students.
