The YWHISPER Gala has raised nearly $6 million over the past twelve years, supporting YW Calgary’s programs and services that help women and their families achieve safety, economic stability, and thriving futures. As a signature event in Calgary, the Gala has a proud history of hosting influential speakers, empowering guests, and fostering a lasting legacy of advocacy. This year’s YWHISPER Gala will feature Kimberlé Crenshaw, the renowned scholar and advocate for intersectionality, whose work has profoundly shaped the modern feminist movement.
