Kabilan Moulitharan joined Global Edmonton in 2023 and has covered the opening of The Valley Line Southeast LRT, and local reactions to the Israel-Hamas war. Â
He began his broadcasting career as an editorial assistant at Global News Toronto and quickly became a web writer and a writer/producer for the evening news.Â
He then moved to Global Saskatoon where he covered important community stories including a new emergency wellness centre, major airline delays, and taking part in winter activities to highlight winter weather in Saskatchewan.Â
When Kabi is not busy reporting, he enjoys streaming new television shows, spending time with loved ones and trying new activities.Â
